What we have here is a nice 304 Cubic inch automatic '76 Jeep CJ7 that needs to be finished. I picked this up as a winter project while I recuperate from a health event. My health went south and i dont have the drive to complete the project. Included with buy it now, brand new engine lift.
This is a clean title and matching numbers truck.
The Good Stuff; The entire body is replaced with a fiberglass body that is in great shape. It has both doors and the hard top.The engine runs strong with no knocks and no smoking. The engine is tight, does not burn or leak oil. The old carb was replaced with a new double pumper. the ignition is upgraded with an electronic ignition, Hotshot coil, and new distributor gear. There is a new starter, new fuel pump, new gas lines replacing the old rusty ones. The alternator is replaced along with a larger core radiator, new thermostat, flex fan and new upper hose. I added a steering stabilizer shock absorber kit and she drove like a BMW. The tranny fluid is new along with the filter. There are updated Warn Lock-out hubs, the transfer case has a hi/low range shifter at the drivers seat. The tires are 95% good there are various small parts for the rebuild included, things like gaskets and odds and ends. The suspension is lifted 4 and the body 2 There is a snow plow that mounts on the front bumper the hydraulics link to a T fitting in the power steering with controls on the dash board.
Bad Stuff; Needs a battery box, minor scratches on the body. interior need some lovin. The frame is shot and a replacement rolling frame is included with the sale.
