This is one of only 511 Jensen GTs built and has only 10528 original miles and completely original down to the original tires. This model is the shooting brake version of the Jensen-Healey that preceded it. The Jensen GT however has a nicer interior, different shaped dashboard, air conditioning, power windows, and an overall more luxurious feel. This car was original sold at the Lind Bros. Jensen dealership in Waterloo, IA.
Powered by the same Lotus 907 engine and five speed transmission as the Jensen-Healey these cars are a lot of fun to drive. This car runs and can be driven but although the brake fluid has been flushed the brakes are sticky and need to gone through and the choke cable is stuck and needs replaced. The radiator also needs replaced or repaired as the output tube to the expansion tank needs repaired. There is some damage to the rear fender which must have been cause when it was being moved around once. The passenger door panel still has the plastic covering it which was never removed by the dealer. The original warranty and service cards are included with the car. There are some spots on the hood and roof where the original paint has started to flake off.
The original air cleaner and intake hose will be reinstalled on the car before it is picked up.
