For your consideration, is a 1976 Triumph TR6 that has been in the same family from new. This TR6 has a clear New Jersey title and it is currently residing in California. Despite looking a little rough around the edges, the car does run and drive quite nicely. All the gauges read and it shows good oil pressure and does not overheat. This TR6 has recently been equipped with the following:
~New spark plugs
~New distributor cap
~New rotor
~New fuel lines
~New fuel pump
~New fuel filter
~New needle valves
~New temperature sender unit
~New smog pump belt
~New upgraded flasher unit
The exterior of the car is still in its original burgundy color, but there are quite a few dings and dents to the body and paint. Also the drivers side door has caused itself some damage, without its check-strap in place the door was able to swing wide open and as a result it careened into itself (see pictures). On the up side it does allow for extremely easy access into the drivers seat. The car underwent Ziebart rust protection after it was purchased when new so rust will not be an issue.
The interior is original and obviously shows it age but it is still a very cozy car to ride around in. The trunk space is in good condition and houses a tonneau cover, and boot cover that will suit this car. The dashboard is in great shape and complete with all gauges. It also still has its original British Leyland radio installed.
The brakes, clutch, and gearbox all work well and all the lights are functional. It currently has duel SU carbs fitted. Overall its a fun car that needs a new home, and if you are looking for a project car this would be a great candidate for restoration, or drive it as is and fix it over time.
