All original 77 Park Avenue. I purchased this car from the original owner a few months back. It had not been driven in 20 years but had been stored in the same garage with a wooden floor it's whole life.
As you might expect after sitting for 20 years it needed some TLC. I replaced the gas tank and gauge, all rubber fuel lines, master cylinder , front calipers, rear wheel cylinders, brake hoses, removed and cleaned the carburetor. After getting it started it had a lifter that would not pump up so I replaced all the lifters, new cam as I was afraid it could be damaged from the bad lifter, new timing chain and sprocket, and water pump. Also new plugs and oil and filter.
I runs super now nice and quite. It still sports it's original tires which are good but do show slight signs of cracking. I will leave it up to the new owner to chose the tires of there choice. The exterior is great shape except for 2 spots on the hood which I have in the pictures. All paint is original and in remarkable shape as is the vinyl top and bumper fillers.
The interior is almost flawless but typical of GM cars of the era the headliner is starting to come lose above the passenger front seat. Not too bad but non the less will need replaced at some point. The rest of the interior is absolutely beautiful and all options work. The air gets cool but not cold so I'm sure it will need a can of Freon.
