1978 Datsun 280Z with 10, 654 original miles. Probably the nicest, lowest milage '78Z in existence!The vehicle was originally delivered to a Datsun dealer in Connecticut and then sent to California for conversion into a convertible. It stayed in the showroom on display for two years, then sold to the first owner. I bought the car from the original owner with 8, 000 miles on it. I had the canvas soft top removed, and the body re-worked into a speedster. Some interior modifications were also performed. For the past twelve years the car has been on display in a climate controlled cabana behind my home. The car is essentially original, and 100% rust free. Motor, transmission, suspension, dash, gauges, carpet, all original. All fluids, brake pads, battery, oil filter, and fuel filter have been replaced. Original fuel injectors have been cleaned, and the car runs perfectly. All gauges work including the clock. The car is a 4-speed and does not have AC. The car does NOT have a top! It can safely be driven across the country ( as long as it does not rain!).
