The Amica BMA of Ravenna, Italy built three wheelers in 1973. Our Amica was built in 1979 being powered by a 50cc engine. Sometime in the mid 1990’s the Amica brand was bought out by Grecav of Gonzaga, Italy. Production ended in 1996-1997.

Get To Know Our Founder, Frank Buonanno:
Frank Buonanno established Black Horse Garage in 1991. Since the age of 15, when he volunteered to rebuild the engine of his father's Ferrari, Frank has demonstrated a natural talent and determination for reparing exotic automobiles. He went on to be influenced and trained by some of the best Ferrari mechanics in the world, honing his skills and perfecting his craft. After more than two decades of working on Ferrari's, Frank has decided to explore other luxury makes, such as Aston-Martin, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar, by opening his own car repar and restoration facility in Miami, FL. And eventually in Bridgeport, CT, where we are today. Frank now has ove 45 years of experienc restoring all types of amazing vehicles, and is the recipient of countless national awards from the most elite European Sport Car Events.
