This 1979 Chevrolet Suburban K20 3/4 ton 4 wheel drive was ordered with the 400c.i. 6.6l small block(1LF4), Automatic Transmission(1MX1), Tinted Glass(1AO1), Trailering Special Package(1Z82) It has over 30 options including 40 gallon fuel tank and skid plate, tinted glass, cruise control, tilt column, intermittent wipers, heavy duty brakes, rear A/C, third row seat, oil cooler and h/duty trans cooler. Has Third Row Seat The engine has around 75, 000 miles on it. The 4 wheel drive works great. I replaced the factory instrument cluster with a Tachometer/ Vacuum gauge unit. Still have the Original Unit to go with Truck
Mechanical issues: Cruise Control works intermittently. The truck has 4.10 gears and could really use an Overdrive Transmission, which I have to go with the truck. It is an 89 K case 700R4 with 241 transfer case and driveshafts. Needs new A/C CompressorExterior issues: Paint isn't perfect but it looks good and shines on a very straight solid body, drive it or polish it. I have a roof rack, strips, and rear spoiler if purchaser desires them. Interior issues: some seat belt plastic shields broken, front headliner starting to release, passenger sun visor material is cracked.
