Here is an absolutely stunning 1979 Excalibur Phaeton in showroom new condition inside and out. This car only has 4, 000 pampered original miles on it. This is the last year for the coveted and most popular Series III Excalibur. It is still a super rare car as only 340 were produced in 1979. The Series III was considered one of the best due to it having a Chevy 454ci big block from the factory and all the comforts of factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, etc. This car was part of a large car collection/private museum for most of its life which is the reason for it having such low miles on it. It truly runs and drives like a new car and is an absolute pleasure to drive. It doesn't get any better then this. If you want the best, here it is!!
Here is a little history on the Excalibur. The Excalibur automobile is a Neoclassic automobile styled after the 1928 Mercedes-Benz SSK by Brooks Stevens for Studebaker. Stevens subsequently formed a company to manufacture and market the cars, which were conventional under their styling. These were all factory built and produced cars from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Brooks Stevens was a famous Amercan designer who designed the Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk, the Jeep Wagoneer and Harley Hydra-Glide just name a few. From 1965 to 1997 only an estimated 3600 Excalibur?s were ever produced making this and instant collector item and rare find!!

This Excalibur has an absolutely stunning, original chocolate brown paint finish with tan pinstripping. All the chrome and trim looks like new. The tan canvas top and side curtains are like brand new. It is sitting on its original wire wheels, which are mint. We replaced the original tires with brand new white wall radials so the car is ready to drive and enjoy!!
Interior:
The stunning all original tan leather interior looks like new. The dash, gauge cluster and steering wheel all look mint. Every single thing and power option works on this car. Inside the rear trunk is like new with all its original tools.
Mechanically:
The car runs and drives like new. It has ice-cold factory air conditioning that works absolutely amazing. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy. We had this car completely gone through from front to back due it sitting it the museum so long. It needs nothing!

At Close of Auction
All Arizona Buyers must pay 7.3% sales tax!
All successful winning bidders will be responsible for a non-negotiable $299 Document Processing Fee in addition to the winning bid amount.
The successful winning bidder must telephone us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction.
Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check, cash (In-Person) or certified funds. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizona , that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction (s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa County Superior Court of the state of Arizona .
Our Guarantee
We have disclosed as much information as possible about this vehicle and aim to only carry quality vehicles. However, we recommend that all buyers conduct an inspection either in person or through a qualified professional third party inspector. Prior to delivery, if such inspection reveals a substantial discrepancy between the information contained in the listing and the actual vehicle, we will correct the problem at no charge or work out a compromise.
