This is the ultimate eye catcher! When I drive her around, everyone is amazed at how cool she is! It is a fantastic vintage electric car!
She is a 2-seat beauty built in 1980 by Commuter Vehicles Inc.in Sebring, Florida. She was one of about 2, 500 produced. I have owned her for over 12 years. In 2014, I switched her from lead-acid to lithium batteries, added a battery management system(BMS), upgraded the drive controller to an Altrax 7245 controller, replaced all the high voltage wiring, and replaced all of the tires.
Since the upgrades, I have occasionally used it to run errands (it has space for 4-6 grocery bags behind the seats) and attend events. It can travel 50 miles at 42MPH top speed.
Car is currently registered and garaged in Redwood City, California. Test drives can be arranged for folks that are local.

The car has been been garaged most of its life. I have tried my hardest to have her age beautifully, but there are some items that still need some attention. The brakes work, but need regular checkups. The body has a few scratches and cracks typical of 37 year old ABS plastic.
