For sale is a beautiful, low mileage 1981 DeLorean DMC-12. A fabulous, well taken care of example, this car has only had three owners. Always stored in a heated dry garage, this car has only 12, 895 true, original miles.
During my ten years of ownership, this DeLorean was treated to extensive maintenance and services from a professional, white glove restoration shop. Here, all of the necessary mechanics were taken care of for this car to be as reliable and trouble-free as possible. This Delorean starts up every time, rides and shifts smoothly, brakes correctly and all accessories, including air conditioning, lights and gauges work. The only exception to this is a finicky passenger side window motor. If you know these cars, you know that low mileage DeLoreans tend to have many issues that prevent reliability. I have had these issues successfully addressed.
Original tool kit and spare tire are still in their proper place, unused.
Headliner over both driver's and passenger's seat has been recently replaced, with correct material from a professional upholsterer.
Leather, carpeting and materials inside the cabin are all in good condition, showing very little wear from normal use. There is one scuff or mar on a front seat.
Stainless steel body is in great condition. There are two tiny dings, no larger than a pencil end. These can only be seen looking for them in the right light and the right angle, and do not take away from the attractiveness of this car.
Motor and underside are dry. Runs well and no leaks.
Service manual, original owner's manual, and all records since new are included in the sale.
I have tried to represent this car as accurately as possible. Bidders are welcome to inspect the car in person beforehand. Though well cared for and in very nice condition, there is no warranty expressed or implied. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions.
