I'm selling this beautiful 1981 Delorean for a friend of mine. Although I work at a dealership, this is a private party listing. The Delorean has only 36K miles, which equates to roughly 1200 miles per year. Performance is powered by a 2.8 Ltr V6 engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission, with Rack and Pinion steering, cold A/C, and all original. The Stainless Steel body looks great, I can't find any flaws. The gray leather interior, gauges, console, door panels, all are in excellent condition. The gull wing doors open and close properly. As soon as the door handle is pulled, the gull wing doors rise on their own due to new door shocks. An upgraded Pioneer stereo was installed, however the original radio comes with the Delorean. The dual exhaust growl will get attention and after the exhaust note has them looking, once they see the actual Delorean cruising by, nothing but thumbs up from there. Along with the car are service bullitins, workshop manuals, and a stainless steel cleaning kit. I will ship the car for free in an enclosed trailer to anywhere in the contiguous US.
