Vehicle Description: This 1981 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo is a two owner example finished in Dark Blue Metallic with blue interior. Built during the final year of the second generation Firebird, this T/A is powered by a turbocharged 301ci V8 paired a 3-speed automatic transmission. A new battery and alternator were added by the prior owner, who drove the car lightly in recent years. Other updates include new rear calipers, machined rotors, brake fluid flush, repacked front wheel bearings, rebuilt carb, and an oil/filter change. It rides on 15? Turbo finned alloy wheels (RPO N89), in good condition and showing some fading to the finish but no major scratches or scuffs. The Dark Blue cloth seats with ribbed seating surfaces have held up fairly well for their age. Weather stripping around the door is ready for replacement. The engine turned dash is a visual highlight and includes the “Radial Tuned Suspension” plaque between the tach and speedo.The gauges are working correctly, as are the clock, factory AM/FM radio, and all interior and exterior lighting. The power windows are functioning. Factory A/C is fitted, complete and working. Underbody images show surface corrosion to some areas of the frame, exhaust, and driveline.
