Excellent 1981 Porsche 911 SC
This car runs and drives great,
It shifts smooth through all the gears, up and down.
The original engine runs great having been fully rebuilt in the last 1000. miles. during the rebuild all original size bearing were used. The heads were redone at Westside Performance & Machine in Houston, Texas.
It also has the factory $3000. upgraded hydraulic timing chain tensioners.
The tires are matching Goodyear Eagle Gt directional for improved handling, fronts are 205/55/16 and the rear are 225/50/16.
It does not pull and there is no abnormal wear.
The seats are excellent, the original carpet is also exceptional and the door panels are great. The dash will need recovering due to the Texas sun.
The body is especially nice, it shows no signs of rust anywhere, other than
a scrape under the spare tire well that has some surface rust.
It's had one respray in it's original color about 8 to 10 years ago but is still shinny and presentable. It has a few minor chips and one small cracked area on the left side of the hood The front body filler under the front bumper does need to be resprayed as there are several rock chip on it (see photo). I can have it resprayed for $150. if the winning buyer wants it done before shipment.
The power windows work as well as the power sunroof.
The factory A/C compressor and drier needs to be replaced but every thing needed to fit the new compressor is with the car.
it also needs both the fog light lens.
The vin is listed as ooooooooooo because ebay wouldn't accept the correct vin which is;
