1983 Porsche 944:-2.5 L, 4 cylinder engine-Manual, FR Drive-87, 000 miles
Details:-Car runs great, was my daily driver for several years, never broke down or had any major incidents. No major mechanical problems-Non-smoker-No accidents-New battery, newly replaced hood release lever, and several other minor new parts (list available upon request)-Upgraded sound system (took out the factory blaupunkt system and door speakers, replaced with nice door speakers and two 6x9's custom drilled into the trunk cubbies. Powered by a nice 5 channel amp. I took the head unit, mono amp, and sub out to put in my new car, so all it needs is a new head unit, and its already set up for a sub and amp if you want to go that route)-Paint and interior in pretty decent condition for 33 year old car (cracks and blemishes from weathering, but no dents, dings, or scratches. Upholstery was in good condition last I checked, currently covered by seat covers)-Moonroof and hatchback in great condition, have full seal, are waterproof, and the hatchback is fully glued to its frame (common issue in these cars). Windshield and all other glass in decent condition-Tires in quite good condition, won't need a change for a while-Have all records of maintenance and parts, kept meticulous history since I've owned it. Available upon request-Still have all spare or replaced parts, will give them to you with car
Note: Carfax and similar checkups added exactly 100, 000 miles at one of my mechanic checkups, not sure why. This is incorrect and I'm not sure how to contact CarFax to fix it, if you know how, please let me know. I can prove odometer though, contact for proof.
I own the car, have a clean title in hand, and Bill of Sale ready. I bought it for $4500, am asking $3000, its in the same condition and I have maintained it well.
Selling it because I ski and camp regularly, and had to upgrade to a car with more cargo space. I miss it bad.
I hate to have to sell this, its an extremely fun car to drive (and nice looking too!), if you've ever driven an older, sporty manual you know what I'm talking about. I drove this every day for several years, got compliments from both passengers and strangers- people will notice. Never had any major problems. I'd like to see it go to someone who will enjoy it and take care of it.
