1985 Alfa Romeo Spider VeloceOne of the nicer Alfa Romeos we have seen. The 1985 Model is the last year for the wonderful classic steel dual binnacle dash board, which in our opinion is aesthetically superior to the later plastic pod dash board.
Veloce Model equipped with leather seats, cloth convertible top, 5 point alloy wheels.
This car drives beautifully and will give its new owner miles of exhilarating driving pleasure.
Current owner's health has prevented him from being able to drive the car and is now being offered for sale.
Car has been recently tuned and fully serviced. Clutch hydraulics replaced, All 4 brakes rebuilt, rear springs replaced.
Condition Report:
Paint - Seems to be original paint and for its age in decent condition, no visible rust or dents.
Engine - Starts and revs very nicely' smooth idle.
Gearbox - Typical of Alfas of this vintage second gear syncro is weak and needs to be carefully shifted into second to avoid grinding. Other wise good condition.
Interior - Leather seats in excellent condition, no rips or tears, nice patina. Carpet in nice shape protected by original Alfa floor mats. Shift boot loose.
Air conditioning - System is present but non-functioning.
Convertible top - Canvas top in very good shape.
Suspension - Shocks good, springs good, bushing good. Passed recent state of Virginia safety inspection.
Tires - Yokohama radials - very good shape - plenty of tread left.
Stereo - Modern stereo with USB port
As stated this is one of the nicer Alfa Spiders we have seen. It was loved and taken care of by its long time owner and now being offered for sale at no reserve.
