Domenic DiDonato, a Ferrari 328 expert and contributing author to Ferrari Club of America publications, shares: An estimated 30 percent of 328s were official U.S.-market cars, with the remainder often referred to here as 'Euro, ' or other-market cars. It is difficult to estimate the total number of 328s in the U.S. today because many Euro cars were modified and imported due to their lower costs in the 1980s. In addition, many U.S. and Euro cars have recently been exported to other countries due to demand, higher overseas values and strong foreign exchange rates. After researching various sources and consulting with experts, it can be approximated that 2, 750 328s currently remain in the U.S. – February 2015.
