Description:

I bought this in August 2017 when L'il Red from the owner in GA who his restored it. I have LOVED this little truck and all the attention he gets and converstations it has started. I hate to sell it but I want to invest the money elsewhere and it's time for someone else to enjoy this super-fun toy. It's been a great around town car that I have never taken off road. Top is new this year and I have the 3 other panels.
Here is the info from 2017. I can't imagine I put even close to 1, 000 miles on it in the two years I've owned it.
Restored 1986 Suzuki Samurai with new 1.6 16 valve motor built by Xtreme Zuks purchased in late 2015Stainless steal header and exhaustMy-Side 2 bolt on carb kit with big bore 44 millimeter Harley Davidson carburetorTotally rebuilt transmissionNew high performance pressure plate, clutch, throw out Barron and fly wheelTransfer case rebuilt with 6.5 crawler gearsFront rear axles completely rebuiltDetroit lockers in the rear end and front end has lock right rockersCustom front bumper with a 9, 000lb winchCustom rear bumperRock sliders on sides with full 1/2 skid panNewish CD player and speakersNew red paint job (2015?) (looks great 2019 and has always been covered) Inside and front rear has been sprayed with rhino linerAll new rubber seals around windows, bushings and doors31.5 Buck Shot Mudder tiresAC does not work but heat doesSeats are fine and unripped but have mildew stains that I can't seems to remove. There's no smell or anything - just stains on the vinyl, non-porous sides of the front seats. I have more photos if you want.
A lot more had been done that he had not listed. He claimed to have over $20k in it when he sold it to me.
I have babied it for the last two years.
I ordered the back seat from Samurai Salvage and had planned to get it recovered but did not get around to it. This bolted-down, original seat is great since you can fold it forward or unlock it and you've got a mini truck bed back there.
It recently got a great bill of health from Performance Automotive in Princeton, TX and they noted that the truck was restored by someone that took pride in their work. They fixed the head gasket and cleaned and adjusted spark plugs. I have that receipt and a bunch of others that the seller gave me in 2017.
Like I said, it's a great around town toy but I would not consistently drive it on the highway. It will easily go 60-70 but I would only drive it around town in the 35-45 mph range. If you're looking to road trip or a daily highway commuter - I'd look elsewhere.
I've got 100% 400+ transactions on ebay - including multiple vehicles. I'm in no hurry to sell nor will I end auction early or deal outside of PayPal. Serious inquiries only please. I have more photos but I am not a car guy. I will answer what I can. I spent 3-4 months scouring every single site I could find and finally found this gem. I would love it to go to the right buyer. Thank you.
