1987 Bentley EightI am selling a 1987 Bentley Eight, I'm asking
$12, 500
for the car. The engine is in good running order, no knocks or pings. The transmission was rebuilt in 2012. The body is straight and the paint is fair. The leather interior shows some cracking from age and the wood is nice but needs refinishing because the lacquer is peeling. The car has less than 60, 000 miles on it. The last time I drove it, the oxygen sensor light came on and the engine died. After about 10 minutes the car started and drove fine for the rest of the evening. I have not driven it since and it has been sitting in my RV parking area at my home. These pictures were taken before I registered the car in Nevada but is still in the same basic condition but the paint is a bit oxidized. It has not been registered since 2015 so test driving it on the road is not an option. The car will have to be trailered. I have over $30, 000 invested in the car and don't feel like putting any more money into it.I have been offered $10, 500 for the car but turned it down because I can't take that much of a loss. This would be a great project for an auto enthusiast who can do the necessary repairs. I tried to jump start the car but quit trying after about 10 minutes.
