1983 Mercedes 300TD
The Good:
· Starts right up even in the freezing cold
· Engine runs fine
· Trans shifts good
· 3rd Row Seat
The Bad
· Bad rear main seal leak
· Overly sensitive ABS system( the antilock comes on as soon as to push
on the brakes)
· Scratches and dents here and there…see pics
· Covering coming off interior pillar
As the story goes…
Bought the car as a project. It sat for about 6 months as a non
runner before I acquired. It was parked because it wouldn’t start and the
driver gave up on it(After he ruined the starter). I swapped out the starter
and all 6 of the copper injector pump inlet line washers and orings. After priming
for what seemed to be an eternity, she finally caught and has been starting
right up ever since.
