I rescued this Sammy 4 years ago from a back yard in down town LA as a basket case with 56, 300 original miles. From the outside it looks rough, on the inside the truck is 80% new. The list is too long to list here, If you contact me Ill give a full list.
Professionally rebuilt engine and transfer case, new brake system, new tires, and all of the fluids have been replaced. Many L.R.O.R. aftermarket parts. MSD ignition Specialty parts: original Japanese MOMO Jimmy steering wheel, factory Japanese trailer hitch, original tow bar, S grill, factory defrost and A/C switch. I am selling it due to the carburetor. I have bought 2 rebuilt carbs, installed both, found them both to have problems, so I rebuilt one carb from the two rebuilt ones and the original junk carb. The truck runs and drives well, but will not pass smog here in CA. I can't find a professional that has any idea how to get the carb to pass, so I have decided to move on. All of the paperwork is in order, but due to the carb it is on the gross polluters list and cannot be titled in CA until it passes. If you do not live in CA, the smog certification is not an issue.

UPDATE: Due to new information, if the winner is a California resident, you will have to sign a statement that you are assuming all responsibility to get the Samurai into compliance with CARB Laws. If the winner is not a CA resident then the above will not apply.
I am also going to sweeten the pot by including all of the spare parts I have, the parts have been checked, cleaned and tested, with the exception of the dashes and carb. The dashes were bought so I could replace the circuit board on the original dash, and the carb is for parts only. View the added photos to see what parts I am offering.
