Selling my beautiful van! '87 is regarded as one of the best for Vanagons. The title is clean. This van is excellent condition. Had the flywheel replaced about a year ago and the technician confirmed that the transmission looked like it was rebuilt around 5 years ago. As for upgrades, I have installed an Alpine stereo with CD/Aux/Bluetooth and JBL subwoofer with external power amp. I've upgraded the original coolant fluid plastic tubes to stainless steel pipes. I drove the van up to the top of Estes Park, CO over the summer and had no over heating issues. Exterior two-color trim has been added from a 1991 Carat model. Black carpeting was installed throughout the floor. Some of the cleanest interior I've seen in a vanagon from this era. Not pictured is the original manual and tire change equipment. One of the rear speakers is not installed, but I will install it before passing it on. I have a dual drink cup/change holder that sits behind the gear shift I'll include as well. All interior lights have been converted to LED. Van has no issues passing DEQ.
Rear bench is currently in the bed position (roughly queen size), but has no issues converting back to bench with seat belts.
