For sale is a custom, one-of-a-kind 1988 Suzuki Samurai in very good condition decked out with a John Deere theme. It has a beautiful and meticulous full body paint job in official John Deere green with support/roll bars and wheel rims painted with John Deere yellow. Everything electronic on this rig including all dash lights, exterior lights, and motorized parts work 100%. All heater/vent/fan functions and controls work flawlessly. The engine, transmission (5 speed manual), 4WD transfer case, and front locking hubs all work perfectly as well. The 4WD has high and low range. The front seats and rear seats are all original, except that the seat areas of the front seats have been re-upholstered. The rear seat has all fully functional seatbelt parts, and the rear seat folds up out of the way if desired. We installed a brand new full custom carpet kit earlier this year. It comes with a like new bikini top (shown installed on the photos in this ad), and I also have a soft top with its corresponding mounting support bar and hardware. The dash, door handles, and all parts, except the John Deere stickers and medallions of course, are all original. It also has a trailer hitch with associated wiring harness. There is a small dent in the very front right corner as shown in one of the photos.
This Samurai weighs just under 2, 000 pounds and is truly fun to drive. The Samurais do extremely well in off-road conditions due to their light weight, good ground clearance, and tight/short wheel base. They are also extremely maneuverable and easy to tow/transport if desired. You can use it as an off-road vehicle but yet have the full use of it to travel on all roadways as well. It travels comfortably at 70 mph on the highway.
This rig gets so much attention wherever we travel with it. It could be used for so many things including taking to car shows, community parades, as a utility vehicle on your property, enjoying a leisurely cruise, etc.
The heater works so well that with just the bikini top installed the front passenger compartment is comfortably warm even in cooler temperatures.
It has 82, 487 original miles. There are no fluid leaks of any kind, and we just did a fresh oil change and installed a new fan/alternator belt. It also comes with floor mats, 2 sets of keys, and the original owner's manual.
