here is a very clean FJ62, 184k miles, all original, I bought this cruiser to clean it up and sell it and now after detailing it I don't want to sell it at all!! One of the nicest dashes i have seen, perfect dash, no cracks at all, pictures say it all, I bought it from a woman who had owned it for the past 20 years! she bought it from Toyota dealership in Washington in 1998 and then it spent the majority of past 20 years in Los Angeles... I have only driven it 100 miles or so but it runs and drives amazing! super nice at 70 on the freeway and very strong engine. shifts super smooth... interior in good shape. Small tear on drivers side seat, pictures say it all... ok there is some rust but you can see from the pictures its really only in a few spots, this is due to living at the LA beach for a while she said... bad spot on roof has not worn through the inner roof at all so it doesn't leak inside at all. Also the clear coat is peeling but besides that she is super straight and in my opinion has a very nice patina, leave as is, awesome driver, or do the minor body work and paint and then you would have a 15k cruiser... I replaced the mirrors (repro), front runner lights (original), rear left signal lens (repro), and mint rear emblem (original) was $200 alone!! but is a very nice addition.All lights work, heater works, rear heater works, original radio works! (I didn't try the tape deck). headliner cleaned up amazing! AC doesn't seem like its working. It needs new wipers front and rear. needs new radio antenna. windshield washer motor works, you can hear it come on, but it needs a cap. all the windows work, this model has the manual windows and locks. tires super nice. bumpers amazing solid chrome. mud flaps nice but they need new brackets or something they aren't hanging right. All in all I'd say this is a super awesome cruiser for the price. If you are looking at FJ62's you know how expensive they have gotten... here is an opportunity to get a super nice driver for half the price of some show pieces... gaining value every day! Its not perfect but very solid. as-is, where-is, I will assist in shipping but you arrange and pay for. Or you can pick up at my house in Los Angeles.
