ALL ORIGINAL... all other than the updated bluetooth JVC radio. The vehicle is in great running and driving condition. Drives like it should for 40k miles on the clock. There are no rust as this vehicle has always been in dry California weather however the sun did fade the paint, wood, and damaged the rear passenger side of the upholstery and the dash pad which is now covered with a custom cover to match the interior. See pictures. The wagon now has a new battery, idle control valve, fuel filter, air filter, KYB shocks, belts, tires, distributor cap & rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires, wipers, all new fluids and AC is now converted to R134 and blows cold. I did bypassed the power antenna and installed an internal antenna and the switch on the dash does work. The rear hatch window works with the touch of a button on the dash. I had all the windows tinted professionally.
The interior is clean, carpet is clean, the rear facing folding seat is like new, and the vehicle runs excellent. There is a small hitch in the rear and would be perfect for hauling bikes for the family.
There are few issues known. Steering wheel needs repair, wood decal faded, two slight dents on the hood, paint is getting thin on some spots, cruise control does not work, and the seat in the rear will need some repair. The exterior wood paneling can be replaced and with very little additional cosmetic work, this station wagon would be a great family vehicle. There is nothing missing from this wagon and even the wheels are OEM. The tires are almost new and ride quietly. The power antenna mask will need to be replaced. The power door lock does not work on the rear swing hatch and the rear passenger door.
The wagons like these are hard to find. This lovely station wagon deserves someone to restore it and drive it everyday in style. Some of the restored wagons will fetch some high dollars and I think they will continue to be in demand. I have a few too many projects and this wagon deserves a good home.
I have been driving it on weekends trouble free and enjoyed a few hundreds of miles with a big smile and many thumbs up from people.
Please contact me with questions. I would like to find this wagon a good home.
Thank you for looking!
