We are selling our 1992 Geo Metro Convertible, this was a gift from my wife's grandfather. We drove it once to get it home and it has sat ever since, with a battery it does start and run, the air is ice cold and everything seems to work, we have not tried to drive it more than in the drive way. It is a project that we know very little about. other than we want to get rid of it. I'm sure the mileage is 120K but the speedo only reads five places. This car seems to need very little to be a fun ride.On Mar-09-19 at 17:08:39 PST, seller added the following information:
NOTE- We were cleaning the car today and the top started to split in the plastic rear window it also would not latch, I think with the colder weather and the age it has shrunk a little to the point that it will not fully close. Instead of breaking anything we decided to not try to close it any further and put it in the garage, leaving the top for the buyer to repair. Keep in mind this is a 27 year old car that hasn't been on the road since 2013, things like this happen. If you wish to retract any bids I'm sure we can make that happen, I am sorry for any inconvenience.
