1994 Geo Prizm, Made by US Electricar.
Complete Electric Vehicle. Was operational a few years back but needs Batteries, Tires and some TLC , No batteries installed at this time.
This factory built EV drives like a normal midsize car. The design is unique with the battery weight underneath the car, so its as stable as a regular sedan. Maintains freeway speeds (55-70 MPH) and goes approximately 100 miles at this speed using the original spec-ed lead acid batteries, Upgrade to Lithium and double the range.
The Batteries are located under the vehicle just as the Tesla today is. This allows for the complete use of the interior of the vehicle including the trunk. It looks as though it is a typical 1994 Geo.
Great fun vehicle for someone to get back on the road
Would also make great project for a high school or Technical School, if someone knows a school looking for a great project to teach electric vehicles have them contact me for options to acquire the vehicle.
