I purchased this 1994 Defender 90 (#20) Soft Top from Copley Motorcars in 2007. I am the third owner and since purchase have put approximately 25k miles on the car. I am a longtime Land Rover enthusiast and own several vehicles, including defenders. All service and routine maintenance was completed on time and by Land Rover of Mount Kisco using all Land Rover genuine parts and fluids where possible.
#20 is in excellent mechanical condition and has been an extremely reliable driver for the 10 years I've owned her. This truck did suffer from the typical corrosion at the rear crossmember, so recent work has included removing the old crossmember and replacing it with a brand new galvanized crossmember that extended back to the rear spring perches. The new crossmember and underside was then cleaned and painted with a corrosion inhibitor.
