It's lasted through high school and college but now we have to part with her. She runs great but has all the problems a 1995 car might have. Looking to put her in a good home - someone who wants to restore convertible function will love this car. Its a manual stick shift - good to learn on if you don't already know how to drive one.
Some of the other problems - Most noticeable is that the convertible roof does NOT open with the power buttons (might be able to open/close manually but we haven't tried that). Seats are worn and the front bumper was knocked off, but we put it back on. The interior lighting and instrumentation lighting is spotty, which means the gauges work, but at night they don't always light up. We add about a cup of radiator fluid every 6 months but it has never overheated.
The stick shift manual transmission is a lot of fun to drive and shifts well. The Saab designed ignition key lock (put in reverse and pull up) to remove key still works. Power windows, heated seats and radio all work. (cassette player does not). A/C works if it is charged, but does lose effectiveness after time. Headlights (low and high beam), taillights, brake and reverse lights all work. Gets about 25 mpg and has had regular oil changes. NJ inspection good thru 9/2017. Sold as is.
