I bought this jeep ~6 years ago off the original owner as my second vehicle, in addition to a motorcycle - so i rarely drive it. selling bc i just bought a new x6 and i pay for parking and insurance on way too many toys. I bought it to restore it and bc i always wanted one. it has ~147k on the clock. since i have owned it i have completely redone everything. Needs nothing mechanically.
these are just the list of things i can remember, lost of stuff done and changed that is just too long to list or remember, i have ~10k in the jeep
New exhaust system (throat-ier sound) this summer
New stainless steel brake lines
New brakes (2yrs)
New steering box (this yr)
new brake booster (this yr)
Full suspension (2yrs)
new steering rod (this yr)
new wiper motor and wipers (3 months)
new gas tank skid plate (this yr)
New differential bearings (this yr)
New clutch (3 yrs)
New radiator (last year)
new U joints and bushings
New rims - give it that aggressive army jeep look
Has tow hitch and lights added
Frame is in excellent shape - had rust spots professionally repaired at the end of the summer.
note just saw some bushing rust that connect body to the frame (see pic) that could be addressed with kits sold. frame guy told me intact for now but something that should be addressed - again these kits are sold online, feel free to look them up.
Upgraded radio with MP3 capability - USB and CD
bunch more i cant remember or didnt know exactly what it was. mechanically sound - drives great - just had oil and alignment when i changed the wheels.
as far as mechanical condition you wont find one in better shape. Clean title in hand
come check it out, take to local mechanic, nothing to hide - great jeep that wont give you any issues. again it just sits costing me insurance and i mainly drive my new X6
