1998 Isuzu Trooper SUV: 4WD, skid plates, good tires, good shocks, good battery, 169, 000 miles. It runs well except:
Burns oil. About 1 qt/1, 000 miles.
Anti-lock function of the brakes doesn’t work and no repair part is available. Brakes work otherwise.
Some cosmetic damage. Front bumper has dent. Right front door has dent. Right rear door has dent and molding missing. Misc scratches. Doors open OK. See photos.
Not likely to pass California smog test; therefore, not eligible for licensing in California. (Owner not willing to pay for smog repairs or smog test.)
Cooling system (anti-freeze) leaks.
Crack in windschield
California license plate expired in June 2017.

This is a good highway vehicle and rugged 4WD vehicle. Great for the back roads of the West. You can take it on 4WD roads where it might get banged up a little (or where it might run into tree branches) and not have to worry about cosmetic damage because it’s an inexpensive vehicle.
