For sale by private owner: 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.9 with automatic transmission. No Reserve! Whatever it sells for is OK with me! I do not have a buy-it-now, but feel free to make an offer. It is for sale locally and the auction is subject to end if it sells locally.
It currently sits showing 177, 802 miles. I've driven it a little over 4, 000 total miles in my 5 months of ownership. Mileage will be slightly higher, as I drive it occasionally. The Georgia title is clean and clear, in my name.

In general this is a good driver, with good compression on all cylinders. It shifts fine, has good brakes, and OK tires. It lived its life in north Atlanta before I bought it and is rust-free. I would trust it in a long trip HOWEVER, it does have a critical need: the heater core is leaking. It is driveable as-is, but if you use the heat it does steam coolant into the passenger compartment. The solution for driving it back would be to bypass the passenger heat in the engine compartment. I might be able to do this for you; however, I highly recommend you be able to work on this truck, yourself!
It is not perfect consmetically. It has minor and difficult-to-photograph minor hail dings on the hood and roof. The paint is all original, however. It also has a shallow dent on the hatch door and small runs of lifting clearcoat also on the rear hatch door. The interior is in OK condition. The driver's seat is quite obviously in need of some love but is usable and supportable, though coming apart. The driver's heated seat does not get hot but the switch does light up and have power. The headliner is sagging in multiple areas. All accessories are present including the spare and retractable cargo cover. The factory floormats are worn as you can see in the pictures. The wheels are near perfect. The tires have less than 50% tread left.
Electronically it is in good condition. Always runs, always starts, warm or cold. I drive this 12 months of the year without hesitation (pun intended). The windows work great. The heat and AC work great, as well BUT the heater core is leaking and will steam into the passenger cabin if you drive it more than 20 or so miles with the heat blasting. The factory radio is no longer there and the aftermarket CD player works well, with loud speakers. The power locks and keyless entry work great; two master keys and remotes are included.
It drives great! The suspension is tight and it has a brand new magnaflow center muffler which makes the menacing exhaust sound even better! The catalytic converter is new and it is not throwing any check engine codes.

There are NO FEES. What you bid is what you pay. I'm a private owner, not a company. I welcome inspections before the auction ends -- either by private company or in-person. I will make myself available.
Sorry, I can't help with financing, am not interested in any trade, and do not accept PayPal or credit cards for payment. We have many banks in Atlanta and I'm happy to do the transaction at your bank or at mine, for security. There is no warranty. I'll be issuing a Georgia Bill of Sale (form T-7) along with the title. I'm happy to help coordinate shipping, but the cost of shipping is yours, the buyer's, if you decide to ship it instead of pick it up. You, the buyer, are responsible for all taxes or ad valorem charged by your home state; I will not be collecting these on your behalf. I can't offer long term storage but am flexible, schedule-wise, and will work with you in good faith to schedule shipping or your drive home. If you are planning to drive it home you are responsible for getting a temporary tag; my Georgia license tag stays with me. The state of Georgia does not require a temporary tag when you purchase from an individual, so -- at least in the state of Georgia -- you are OK driving around without a tag as long as you have proof of ownership and insurance in the vehicle (proof of ownership is the bill of sale and title, signed over to you). If you are bidding I expect you to follow through. A non-refundable deposit of $200 is due within 72 hours via PayPal, direct wire, or overnight check. If a deposit is not received within 72 hours the car will be relisted. This car is for sale locally, as well, and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
