Let me just start off with... Never, I
mean never has she let me down... I am the second owner and have enjoyed this amazing machine since 2010. If your are reading this chances
are you are looking for an Avant, an Avant in specific. I am in south
of Boston and I know you need something soon, the cold is here as I
am typing this. She has never got stuck! Never! My friend and I
tried to get her stuck and she won, we couldn't. This is the sport
edition with water resistant cloth waxed seats, pretty cool I never
seen these seats before. Interior is pretty well kept with just a few
rubs from a few times I wore a vest with buttons.
Make an offer... Any
reasonable
offer will not be refused... I will deliver with in reasonable miles
like 60 or so anything more than that you are responsible for
transport. Chances are you have looked at a few. Chances are the
lights are on, engine runs rough, a bunch of things don't work or if
it was really nice it is like $10grand... You know, if you want an
Audi there is no substitute for the AEB 1.8t. All the other 1.8t can
not be modified like the AEB. 2.0t, nice motor but pistons go so
fast and burns oil like a siv. THIS IS THE Germane Built B5 AEB 1.8t with QUATTRO
ENGINE HERE...
I literally put about $8000+ less than
2 years ago. Literally everything, engine with less than 75, 000, brakes, suspension, clutch, all rubber bushings, control arms and
more. I will give a comprehensive list later. I just want you to
understand the major repairs and upgrades first. Making this one of
the most solid car unlike any you will find.
I upgraded the ignition with an R8
ignition costing $800+ and instantly noticed lights were brighter, no
engine stutter that you will find on all 1.8t and so much more power. This is really important, especially if you ever owned a 1.8t, then
you know the coil packs and ICM are like time bombs and it is not if, but when will they fail. Some times harming other major components
costing much more.
The timing belt was replaced along with
all of the necessary components: water pump, belt tensioner, gaskets
all with genuine Audi parts. This is very important because not
using genuine Audi parts is the reason the last engine failed at
167, 000.
I literally drove less than 5, 000 miles
since I made all of these repairs. The whole suspension, front rear, springs, shocks, struts, rubber and metal mounts (which I can
guarantee if they have not been done on yet on another car your
looking at, they are rotted out and you dont even know. Once again
all genuine Audi parts, except the shocks and struts are heavy duty
Monroe. The springs are the heavy duty version of genuine Audi. This was a $3000 job, mostly all in parts, very little of it labor.
Now for a list of everything I
replaced and or have for install. Please forgive me if I forgot
anything:

I have deleted the AC by removing the
belt, but it does work and it is still there if you want it just
through on a $10 belt. The rear brakes make a little grinding noise
because I never drive it, it sat for over a year. The clear on the
paint is peeling like all red audis do. The back set on drivers side
gets damp with a ton of rain. I think the drain system needs
cleaning. That is pretty much it for things that could use a little
attention as far as I can think. I need someone who loves this car
as much as I do to enjoy it. I do not need to sell it and really do
not want to, but having it sit is almost as bad as not having it.
With that being said all that was done
less than 2 years ago and I never drove it, less than 5, 000 miles
since. I had a work truck and had to drive that at all times due to
the fact I was always on call. It is not perfect, but the closest
MECHANICALLY you could find anywhere guarantee it.
Please feel free to ask any
questions...
