2000 BMW Z3 Post-facelift body
Overview:
- 76, xxx miles (Driven on nice days)
- Clean Title in hand, ready to sell!
- Rust-free, always garage kept and treated well. Looks new considering the car is over 10 years old
- Red interior with M-style steering wheel and M-style shifter
- Post-facelift (In 2000, BMW facelifted the Z3's exterior look. Most apparent were the tail-lights which resemble the E46 L shape)
- 2.3L Inline-6 M54 Engine (Actually a 2.5L, however, BMW labeled the engine as a 2.3 in order to space out the engine options)
- Factory LSD (All 6-cylinder Z3's came with LSD's stock)
- 5-speed manual transmission (shifts smooth, solid clutch)
- Three keys (1x Owner Key, 2x Valet Key)
- Soft-cloth convertible top with no tears or leaks and the stock plastic rear window
- Rear sub-frame and weld spots are good with no signs of damage
Maintenance done after ownership:
- Refreshed cooling system (Weakest part of most BMW's)
- New water pump
- New thermostat
- New hoses
- New accessory belts
- New cooling system gaskets
- New tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R, arguably the best summer performance tire)
- Oil and filter changed every 3000 miles with full synthetic
- Only filled up with premium gasoline (92+ octane rating)
What it may need (depending on owner, none of these were an issue for me)
- The volume knob on the radio is finicky, it works but you have to be gentle or else the volume becomes loud fast (common problem)
- Sub-woofer between the seats may need to be replaced- Slight hazing on the rear plastic window (could use a buff or replacement, if desired)
The car needs absolutely nothing (besides the mentioned above)! I have taken great care of it! It is ready to drive and put a smile on your face!
