The Service Stability System message lights up when you first start the car and the Anti-lock ABS and Traction Control dash lights are on. My mechanic scanned the car and said there's no communication with the ABS control module (so the ABS and Traction Control don't work). However the brakes still work fine and passed NC state inspection. The ABS control module is no longer available thru Cadillac but doing a Google search finds several companies that rebuild these modules.
