It would have been a 53/53 had the DMV recorded the odometer reading when I had it registered. Nevertheless, you can see the low miles it had on the report just before registering it in CA. Also, it did not pass smog when I bought it and I had a repair done (replaced the knock sensor and had done a Mfg. retrofit on manifold). It passed smog with flying colors once this was done.
These cars are considered collectors since GM stopped manufacturing 4th Generation Firebirds and Trans Ams back in 2002.
Here's the skinny on it:Engine runs great! I had a mechanic go through it and check everything and smog it about 6 months ago. Mechanic gave it a clean bill of health. Interior and exterior are in good condition with below average wear and tear. Both doors panels have the normal crack running down it that these cars tend to get overtime. I replaced the dash myself, so it is like new. Tires are practically brand new--tons of tread. All mechanical and electrical work fine, except passenger window motor needs to be replaced (window is up). I repaired the lights, so they flip up and down fine now (with no noise).
