nice well cared for rust free 2001 Ford Taurus with 91000 miles, everything works as it should and the car needs nothing. I don't know the history of the car as I received it about 6 months ago in a barter for work. I went through the car front to back and bottom to top and in the last 6 months (less than 10 miles of use) the car has received new brakes all the way around including pads, shoes, drums and rotors, the plastic front sway bar links were replaced with new steel ones, water pump, idler and tensioner pulleys, belt, the rust free car was undercoated, new tires, transmission received a full service including a 100% fluid change/filter and a new pan with drain plug, oil change, air filter. the spare doesn't appear to have ever been installed on it, the ashtray doesn't appear to have ever been used. the interior is in exceptional condition for its age, the front seats are near flawless showing no rips, tears, repairs or stains with minimal wear. although it has what appears to be a small burn hole in the back seat the car doesn't have any strange odors and most importantly doesn't smell like a ash tray. the car has a clean CarFax (can be obtained through eBay) report showing no accidents or liens. Keep in mind the car is 17 years old and has spent its entire life in the city of Richmond Va and has its original paint. the car has dings, scratches and bumper wear from parking lot abuse. there is a deep scratch on the hood (doesn't go all the way through the paint, see pics) and the top of the side edge of the drivers door has some damage (see pics) but the paint is still shiny (the clearcoat is deteriorating on the front bumper cover, see pics). I recommend inspecting the vehicle before bidding, anytime is good as long as prior notice is given.
