This 2001 Mazda Miata MX-5 Special Edition, 1.8L, 4 cyl. 6-speed is in mint condition (original condition) with 36, 700 documented miles and three owners. Only 3, 000 Special Edition MX-5 (number 2, 321 of 3, 000) were built in 2001 in British Racing Green (this is not the green metallic paint). In 1991 the MX-5 was the other year that was painted in British Racing Green. Mazda may have produced one million examples with the MX-5 model but only 6, 000 in British Racing Green for the combined two years. Nardi wood steering wheel, Nardi wood gear shifter, wood emergency brake handle and wood trim center console is a Special Edition feature. The front wings also include a Special Edition Badge. Fitted with rear limited slip differential, blistein suspension, remote keyless power door locks, 16 inch chrome wheels, Bose Auto System, boot luggage rack, factory floor mats, also Coco Company front coco mats, copy of new car window sticker, all maintenance records, all new car books, car cover, Battery Tender and new battery.
First owner was for 9 years and 19, 659 miles driven. The second owner was for 6.5 years and 16, 123 driven miles and I have driven 718 miles in 1 year. First two owners were from Missouri and stored this car in climate control for the winter months. I had this car shipped to Florida in an enclosed two car trailer and have kept the car under cover at my private garage. This example is in a condition that has made me it's caretaker and only taken out on clear sunny days. This Mazda MX-5 Special Edition will increase in value if you become it's caretaker.
