In June I had the throttle replaced. Since then the check engine light has been on and off randomly. I haven't used the car since. I recently went to get it inspected (its a 2nd car and was due to expire) and it passed everything except failed due to: CODE: P0455 evaporative emission control system leak detected (gross leak). I was told it could be something as small as a cracked gas cap or something larger. I don't have the need for the car anymore so will not bother fixing it. Aside from that the car leaks oil like a 16 yr old foreign car is expected to and dash LCD display is not the best. It runs good. Turbo is solid, timing chain was replaced at 77k and A/C & heat in great order. It cranks over fine.
The main thing is the age and emission leak so therefore I am selling the car as is. I cancelled insurance and plates and decided to just sell it. If you start it and rev the engine the RPM's and turbo are fine. there is absolutely no concern there. Put in into gear and it may sputter a bit and smell of emissions. I'm assuming its a gasket or hose-line somewhere that needs attention. These Saab's will go for well over 200k miles.
I'm the 2nd owner and the car has been cared for properly.
