Good first generation Audi TT's are increasingly hard to find. My wife and I looked at upwards of 30 TT's before buying this one. I own a 2001 Lake Silver coupe back in Pennsylvania, and have enjoyed it for 15 years. After retiring, we spend a half year in Burbank ...so we decided to get a TT roadster here in CA .
After looking at a lot of lousy cars (faded paint, major scuffs and dings, unattended maintenance) we found a good car. The finish on this car is excellent, suggesting it was garaged for much of its life. It has a clear Carfax, no accidents or issues.
Most people don't have time to find good cars, but with retirement, we could do so. It has been fun. .. ....TT's are truly great cars and their design is timeless. This car has just the right amount of power, the gearbox has short throws and is very smooth. The exhaust note is just right. This car has an incredible Bose sound system, but I barely turn it on.
