2002 Buick Century Limited for sale by owner.
This car runs well and is very comfortable to drive. I've owned it for 6+ years and it was previously owned by and elder gentleman who purchased it new. I really like this car but am getting rid of it because we have a growing family and I needed to purchase something bigger.
I'm going to disclose the good and bad for this vehicle.
Current known issues:
1) It needs a new thermostat. The specific code that appears is P0128. This has not interfered with the vehicle's ability to run but it does cause the fan to run on cold days. If I clear the code, the fan operates normal.
2) Trunk lid support strut is shot. This makes the trunk heavy to open and there is no assistance holding it up.
3) Broken ABS Sensor Wire, This causes the ABS light to stay on but the ABS works.
4) TRAC Off light is on. This has been on for a while but I think traction control operates properly.
5) There are some cosmetic issues with the body. All pictured. Although one of the headlights has cosmetic damage, it is fully operational.
Recent repairs since 2015:
1) 4 New General Altimax RT tires. Excellent tred remaining.
2) New BCM
3) New PCM
4) New fuel pump
5) New fuel tank
6) New left-front axleshaft assembly.
7) New front stabilizer bar.
8) New battery
