Up for auction is a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo Sport convertible with about 58, 000 miles on it. I have owned the car for 12 years and it has been well taken care of. The reason I'm selling is that I'm retiring to a place that doesn't have a garage and I need to sell one of my three cars as well as my Moto Guzzi motorcycle. This is a no reserve auction so please ask any questions and be sure you want the vehicle before making a bid. I am not listing this vehicle locally so the highest bidder will get the vehicle.
There aren't too many of these Rodeo Sport convertibles around especially with this low mileage. While it never got the greatest of reviews, I found it's rather unique qualities fit me perfectly. In the summer it was open air fun. In the winter I never had to wait for the snow plows to come through before driving out and donning my snow shoes. It is a fully capable 4X4 with settings for 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive high and 4 wheel drive low.
Some of the good includes:
- low mileage of about 58, 000
- 4X4 capability
-well maintained for example running sythetic oil in engine and differentials, new shocks at 50k, new premium brakes and rotors at 50k
-interior in good condition with no tears or abuse
- Plastic is good except for for one crack on passenger side front grill
- 3point hitch and rated to tow up to 4500 lbs (No hitch wiring since I only used the hitch to mount a bike rack)
- the top doesn't leak
- air conditioning works
The bad:
- It's 15+ years old and there's no guarantee that just because it's performed reliably for me it will continue to do so.
- tires are okay but I'd estimate they have less than 50% tread left
- CD player doesn't work
- intermittant wiper (usually) doesn't work. Regular wiper setting works fine on low and high.
- body has its share of scratches and blemishes including three small rust spots at the top of the windshield that can be seen in one of the pictures.
　
Paypal is acceptable for the deposit with the balance by cash or wire tranfer.
Shipping is the winning bidders responsibility. I will make myself available for pick up of course.
A few other things will be included with the vehicle:
- 6 spark plugs and an air filter. I had hoped to give it a tune before selling but alas never got around to it.
- a new front air dam that attaches to the hood.
