For sale - my MAZDA PROTEGE DX 2002. Clean title in-hand. STANDARD SHIFT/Manual Transmission. 152k miles.
Tires, brakes, clutch, manual transmission, and other drive-line components in good working order. Interior very well kept, minor signs of wear and tear. NO tears on seats. Exterior some wear. Windows, radio, CD player, instrument cluster, AC, heat and windshield wipers all work well.
Reason for sale and low price: After a lifetime of good care an unfortunate mistake damaged the engine - the oil cap was left off and by the time it was noticed there was damage. Engine repairs are required for this car.
The car will drive but engine is weak. New owner can get it home without a problem if they are in the Poughkeepsie, NY area. Farther with care.
After engine work this car can be dependable, economic and a lot of fun, especially for stick shift fans. Lots of good parts and clean interior seats if that's what you need.
