I have to sell my dream car... It is a 2002 Saab 9-3 Viggen with only 66, xxx original miles on the odometer. I am going to be moving and getting married in a few months and I have to simplify, that is the only reason that I am letting this car go. I am the third owner, the second owner had it for about 10 years and kept it at a vacation home, putting only about 1, 000 miles on it a year. I have owned it for a little over a year and in that time have driven about 8, 000 miles in it, including three 1, 200 plus mile road trips, and it has not missed a beat the whole time. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere in the country. My last trip, to Montana, I covered 1, 500 miles and averaged almost 34 MPG for the entire trip, and that with the top down most of the time! The car is completely stock aside from the stereo and a mildly tuned ECU, but it comes with the original stereo and the original ECU if you want to return it to stock. I installed the new stereo this summer because I got tired of only being able to listen to CD's and the radio and wanted to be able to stream from my phone. I did used an adapter harness so that I didn't have to cut any if the cars wiring, and it has an adapter so that the steering wheel controls still work.
The top is brand new, installed at the beginning of this last summer. The interior is in good condition, especially for a convertible. The seats are very comfortable, I drove for ten hours and got out feeling just fine at the other end. It has all the bells and whistles available on the Viggen including heated seats, dual power seats, memory on the drivers seat, automatic climate control (which I love!) and so forth. It has a set of custom Lloyd rubber mats.
The car comes with a Saab wind blocker (one that connects to the built in attachment points, not like the aftermarket ones that strap down) that comes with a storage bag. On it currently are newer aftermarket 17 wheels with almost brand new Yokohama Avid all-season tires.
