Its finally time for me to sell my 540i. Really don't want to but just picked up an M5 and so this has to go. Ive kept it clean inside and out. Ive always parked it in my garage ever since i bought it. It has a really nice colour combo. Really love this car as i believe the e39 was one of the best bodies that BMW made. It handles good and has plenty of power. It Currently has 140k miles but has plenty of life left on it. The miles will go up as i will still drive it as my daily till i part with it. I recently put 4 new michelin tires, changed 5 coils, front brake pads, water pump, coolant seal under the intake, and and oil change with mobil one oil. I change my oil every 5000 miles. The car has the rear sunshades on the doors, heated seats, aux input and cup holders that still work. This is the M version which came with 10 more hp than the original along with stiffer suspension, better torque converter, and a better diff. Now for some downsides. The car has a quarter size ding on the passenger door from a shopping cart that someone left rolling and a scratch on the rear bumper that appeared while it was parked in D.C. Also, one rim has some very minor curb rash, and there is a slight oil leak from the engine. That is it. There are no other current problems that i am aware of.
