I have owned this G55 for over 8 years and its been an incredible vehicle. I finally decided to upgrade and just purchased a 2011 Mercedes G55 thus the sale. I will be transferring the roof rack to the new G. The last photo shows it loaded for a camping trip at the Oregon Coast. While I have dreams of doing some expedition travel, this G has barely been on a dirt road and I've only taken it to Oregon State campgrounds twice. The rack mounts on the upper rail and presents zero issues to the paint when removed. I upgraded the stereo to an Alpine CarPlay unit (and will be doing the same on the 2011, it's amazing). The Apple Carplay allows you to make calls, voice text, play iTunes, Pandora and Podcasts, etc plus Navigation. I opted to purchase the optional steering wheel controls for the volume as well. This upgrade really makes you forget you have an older vehicle. Backup camera is available if you want to add this option. The G will come with 2 sets of tires, the factory Yokohama's with great tread plus the Blizzak snow tires which are currently on the car. No salt on Oregon roads if you are wondering so no rust on the vehicle anywhere. Wheels were professionally power coated black. Includes all of the desirable extras like the brush guard, headlight guards, turn signal guards, tail light guards, upfront lower bar and factory 'skid' plate. These sell for hundreds of dollars each on eBay so a lot of extra value. Winter mats included plus the factory rear mat. I upgraded the headlight bulbs to PIAA ceramic bulbs which had to be imported. I purchased this G55 from a Mercedes dealer 8+ years ago with 38K miles. It was just detailed on 2/8/17. I am a serious car guy, I currently have a new Mercedes SL, Porsche 997 Turbo, Range Rover Sport SC and a Unimog...$300K+ of vehicles so rest assured the G was not neglected. Always garaged. 3M clear bra as well. G55's are rare, unique and once depreciated are not going down in value. Clear title in hand. Clean Carfax. This is an exceptional G55 that has been very good to me and you'd guess it had 1/2 the miles on it by looking at it. All services are current, needs nothing...not even tire balancing. Sad to see it go but it's not as difficult with the new one here :) If you have been looking for an earlier G55 I can't imagine you will find one nicer.
