I live in Chicago but this Porsche is from Texas for most it's life. I purchased this 911 from a guy upgrading to a GT3! Needless to say he had money and he put a lot into this car. Full binder documenting all maintenance and service, performed at Porsche certified Jones Motor Works in San Antonio, TX. This 911 has been restored to better than like new condition, meaning they replaced the IMS bearing known to fail and installed a modification that removes this bearing concern for life. Since the engine must be pulled to perform the IMS bearing upgrade they also replaced the rear differential seal, trans seal, water pump and most every belt, hose, seal and maintenance item possible. They also flushed and filled all fluids. This is why the car is such a good deal, because it has been restored to showroom condition, or better. It took me 40+ years to afford a 911 but I still feared being able to afford maintenance or service if it came up. I had to buy a 911 that would be better than reliable and this one is nothing short. There is an accident reported in 2008 on Car Fax but this 911 has been independently inspected and found to be in perfectly sound condition with all OEM parts and no paint work ever! I am including the 3 ring binder of all maintenance and service, an OEM Porsche car cover, and did I mention that it has brand new OEM 18 wheels, with new Sumitomo tires, black painted calipers, ceramic brakes and new rotors all the way around? There is also a clear bra since new which protects the paint from chips and fading, 3M ceramic tint, like new interior and upgraded Porsche crested black floor mats.
