This might be your only chance to ever own a rare piece of hot hatch history legally in the US. In the past ive always seen videos and played in video games of certain cars I considered the untouchables, sports cars that were only offered outside of the states and this was always one of my favorite, the most odd, badass, european looking car offered. This being the fastest hot hatch ever produced at the time, highest hp, Mid engine, Rwd, and extremely widebody immediatly became not only mine but everyones favorite in the motorsports world.
This example was shipped from europe along with an array of other exterrmely rare rally race cars, such as rs2000's, r5 turbo race cars etc. Was imported legally around 2010 and then registered in LA Habra, Ca in 2011 and since then went into a private collection. I recently aquired the vehicle and had it serviced with new coils, sparkplugs, fresh fluids, and a AC service. Now it holds a clean FL title and carfax.
Cosmetically the renault is near new with very little imperfections. Paint is immacculate withe exception of a small scuff on the bottom the front bumper. Interior remains all original and fully functional. Does have minor stickies on some buttons. Ive driven the car around 500-700 miles locally and has performed amazing, pulls hard and sounds sick with the throttle body and a CAI right behind your head. New Michelin Pilot Sports and aftermarket coilovers give it a agressive stance but a smooth ride. Clutch and transmission work as they should with no griding or slippage.
