I have owned this car since 2011 as I first graduated from college and was my biggest purchase at the time. It had 100, 000 miles from the previous owner who bought it new. This car is very unique as the owner custom ordered the car from the dealer to have the luxury, sport, and SMG packages all in one. This car cost her more than any M3 at the time.
Since ownership, I have put approximately 56, 000 miles in the last 7 years. That's 8000 miles a year roughly.
This is a clean title California car that I have brought with me to North Carolina upon taking a job in the IT sector at the RTP area in July of 2014. In 2015, I was introduced to NASA racing and was hooked and decided to turn my car into an HPDE car ( High performance driving education). However, in Feb 2016, I got married and started graduate school at the UNC-Chapel Hill Business school and last time I drove the car before parking it in storage was in August of 2016 as I bought an SUV for the family. I have only done 1 HPDE event and 1 Hyperfast event total in the car. I have the documentation from NASA.
Now, let's review the specifics to ensure it's all covered, if you're unsure, please drop me a message:
- Motor/Transmission/Drive-train all is excellent condition-This car has straight pipes and the CAT converter is still on it-The Engine light is on due to code P1071, P1073 for a mass air flow sensor. I never changed it as I have the tool to reset and I know the process for the drive time to ensure the car is ready for SMOG/inspection. -This car has SMG1 which is better than SMG 2 that the E46 M3s had. The SMG was inspected and the oil level and everything else is 100% in working condition. Shifts like a dream- in 2012 the radiator was replaced and has received the 100K service package ( engine works, transmission etc...) this car was serviced at Moran motorsports in Berkeley, CA
-Front brakes have Power Stop Evolution Sport 1-Click Brake Kit with all BMW fluids-As indicated in the video, the front yellow lights need to be removed in order not to scratch the hood upon opening it-Rear seats and trunk trimming are gone-Front seats are replaced with racing seats which causes the seatbelt light to be on as its missing now the sensor that comes standard with the standard seats. there is a workaround to put back the sensor -Radio is gone but all the speakers are still there-All door panels even the rear ones are still on - 18 BBS LM replica Rims are straight and only have curb rash ( 1 of them has paint spill )- Tires were bought 11, 000 miles ago ( 2 Kumhos ECSTA 235/40 Front, and 2 Falkon ZIEX 245/40 REAR) Receipt included ensuring you still have the warranty - Oil change, coolant flush, and mechanical inspection from AAA was done on 1/6/2016 which was 3920 miles ago-Starter was replaced on 8/9/17 which was 847 miles ago- car needs a good buff and polish and removal of prior plasti-dip that I used to do the car on my wedding day ( Pics included)- Wear and tear of scratches all around but with a good polish will be gone- No rust -some clear off on the roof sides
