driving owner). Paint is awesome with a deep glow. Interior is excellent for a 12-13 year old car. Rear seats don't even look like they have been sat in since it was bought! This is one of the cleanest, most honest E46 M3's currently for sale on eBay. NEVER driven in rain while in my possession and never driven in rain by previous owner. GARAGED. Driver and passenger side airbag recall fix was performed last week. This M3 has been checked and cleared of any of the well known E46 issues that surfaced on some earlier year models including subframe crack, Vanos issues, etc. Car has new belts/tensioners, water pump and alternator (original alt. is fine and included as spare). Inspection II was performed late 2015 which included a valve adjustment. All fluids are fresh and stock BMW. Still has that cool little flashlight in the glove compartment. Clean and clear title. I have no idea why report indicates there is a lien. There in no lien. Car has some discreet and classy upgrades. These include:- VF Engineering Cold Air Intake (100% reversible - stock air box included)- VF Engineering Hex Flash tune (100% reversible - stock tune and ODB to USB cable interface included)- Poly bushings (handles like new - tight and solid)- Underdrive Pulley upgrade- Some braided lines- Cross drilled front and rear (stops as good as it goes)- 18 Anthracite upgraded wheels. Imperfections/Issues:- Normal-use wear inside and imperfections including very small chips on front. Probably won't be visible in pictures.- Driver side mirror is showing signs of delaminating, see pic.- Unfortunate but common scratches under front lip from unexpected dip in road. Not visible from standing position. See pic.- Front interior has some of the infamous wearing of the rubber-like coating BMW put on some interior console parts. See pic.- Rear right wheel has small chip. Repairable. See pic.- Finicky moon roof shade- Could use a new shifter knob. See pic.- Small dings on driver's side aluminum armrest trim piece.- Small oval stain on driver's side seat bottom
I am an open book as far as this car goes. I may have left something out that you want to know. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have quickly and concisely. I also welcome and encourage visits to check out the car ahead of purchase. Please don't bother asking if I will take less than the starting bid. It's not going to happen. As it sits, the car is worth more than the starting bid and will only be increasing in value if kept to the same standards that I and previous owners have kept it. Also, I don't need to sell the car, I want to sell the car.
Buyer arranges and pays for shipping. I would be happy to do whatever I can on my end to make it a smooth transport. I will provide a final walk-around video of the car for the buyer just before it is loaded. This could be helpful for proof of condition if there's any damage while transporting. I have bought and sold many cars on eBay and I have only had one problem (from a seller who did not divulge major body issues). I would like to keep it that way!
Reason for selling: Finally got an allocation for an M2. I'm downgrading. ; )
NOTE
: The original owner had the driver side door lock barrel replaced after a failed theft attempt damaged it. This was in 2004 when the car was brand-new. This is showing as a 'minor issue' in the accident category for some reason. This car has never been in an accident, confirmed by my foreign car technician on initial inspection.
