You’re looking at an exceptionally well-maintained, and cared for, Gallardo in excellent condition. I know all owners say that but I have the documentation to prove it. I have had the privilege of owning it for the past 5 years. Always garage kept and stored. With the kids in college it’s time to sell.
Highlights: custom Formula 43 wheels, thunderous – head turning - TUBI exhaust, optional hatch glass engine compartment cover, exterior carbon fiber accent panels, carbon fiber engine compartment panels. 3M wrap – installed due to the conditions of most of the roads in my state. The wrap was painted with Lamborghini green basecoat then clearcoated prior to installation. The original paint color underneath is Lamborghini yellow. The mirrors are also wrapped with 3M carbon fiber vinyl. If you’re concerned about the condition of the paint under the wrap, wrap removal is negotiable.
Here's a list of the work I have had done: with all accompanying maintenance records.
· Oil, filter, fluids changed twice a year.
· 2012: Lamborghini dealer completed the 2012 recall work which consisted of rerouting the power steering lines. All fluids replaced.
· 2014: ball joints rebuilt and fitted with zerk fittings in the process, now better than oem. Control arms replaced left/right side. ECU F1 Egear control unit (hydraulic pump) replaced. Custom 3 piece wheels built by Formula 43 installed. Custom exhaust work – after a few comments from a neighbor I had my mechanic install removable SuperTrapp exhaust tips. I ended up never needing to use them so they are new in the box.
· 2015: new alternator. Coolant system flushed. New front rotors. Brake system flushed. New Opitma red top battery.
· 2016: Tentioners, timing chain drive assembly, oil pump, oil, oil filter, power steering pump, brand new Hi Tech Exotics Kevlar S200 clutch, Denso a/c compressor and PTO shaft, all fluids replaced.
The work completed in 2016 was due to the failure of the a/c compressor coupling. To replace the damaged PTO (drive shaft used to power the a/c compressor) they had to disassemble the engine. I decided that due to the total miles on the car to have the suggested Lamborghini maintenance items done as well. My intent was to give the next owner a car that is ready to go with no concerns of required repairs. I've only logged about 200 miles in 2016, so clutch life is at 100%. Lower mileage Gallardo’s are out there for sure, but none I have seen have had this level of work done to them, yet. It’s going to have to happen to them one day why should you be the one to do it.
